Everyone should have the opportunity to live well beyond breast cancer.
Our Mission
To improve the quality of life of the breast cancer community by increasing access to Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Therapy.
We believe that everyone, regardless of race, age, education, and income, should have access to essential cancer care during, after, and well beyond breast cancer.
Breast cancer and its treatments, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and hormonal therapy, are associated with a wide range of physical and emotional side effects that can have a significant impact on one’s quality of life.
While side effects are common, they are not something that people need to accept as part of their new normal — Breast Cancer Rehabilitation can help! Breast Cancer Rehabilitation is proven to maximize one’s recovery and healing during and after breast cancer by minimizing treatment-related side effects and improving one’s physical, mental, and social well-being.
However, despite evidence strongly recommending the benefits of Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, only 1-2% of the cancer community receives this specialized care.
The costs associated with rehabilitation, coupled with inadequate insurance coverage and a lack of awareness about the specialized service, remain the primary barriers to accessing Breast Cancer Rehabilitation.
What We Do
At Well Beyond Breast Cancer, we're committed to breaking down the barriers that stand in the way of vital Breast Cancer Rehabilitation services.
Through our Financial Assistance Program, we fully cover the cost of appointments of Breast Cancer Rehabilitation with specialized physical or occupational therapists across the United States—lifting financial burdens so individuals can receive the care they need.
Through our free Educational Workshops, we bring expert insights directly to the breast cancer community, helping individuals improve their quality of life and cancer-related side effects. By making these sessions widely accessible, we minimize geographical barriers to care and ensure everyone has the information and support they deserve.
Whether you are a survivor, thriver, previvor, or metavivor, we are committed to helping you live well beyond breast cancer. Your quality of life matters to us and we are here to ensure you get the care you need—and deserve.
Why Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Matters
Donate to help others live well
Every donation helps us make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
Your support goes well beyond easing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis — it directly provides those affected by breast cancer with the specialized care that they need to overcome the physical and emotional side effects of breast cancer-related treatments. Your generosity can truly change lives.
Well Beyond Breast Cancer is one of the first 501c(3) non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life of the breast cancer community by increasing access to breast cancer rehabilitation. Our Financial Assistance Program provides those in need with funding to pay for appointments of breast cancer rehabilitation with specialized physical or occupational therapists across the United States.
Well Beyond Breast Cancer is a 501c(3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax-deductible. To claim a donation as a tax deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your donation receipt as your official record. Please note donation amounts are in USD.
“Cancer challenges us emotionally, mentally, and physically. Healing begins when we nurture all 3 components. By seeking specialized services that can support us in some of our needs, recovery can be facilitated and an overall sense of well-being attained.”
