Everyone should have the opportunity to live well beyond breast cancer.
Our Mission
To improve the quality of life of the breast cancer community by increasing access to Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Therapy.
To ensure everyone affected by breast cancer, regardless of race, age, education, and income, has access to essential cancer care during, after, and well beyond breast cancer.
Breast cancer and its treatments, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and hormonal therapy, are associated with a wide range of physical and emotional side effects that can have a significant impact on one’s quality of life.
While side effects are common, they are not something that people need to accept as part of their new normal. Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, a specialized field of physical and occupational therapy, is proven to maximize one’s recovery and healing during and after breast cancer by minimizing treatment-related side effects and improving one’s physical, mental, and social well-being.
However, despite is proven role in recovery, only 1-2% of cancer survivors receive this specialized care. Many are unable to access the service due to financial hardship, inadequate insurance coverage, and systemic inequities linked to race, age, and socioeconomic status. Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate. So why should cancer care?
What We Do
Financial Assistance Program: We help remove financial barriers to cancer care by paying for appointments of physical and occupational therapy for those who are uninsured or underinsured. These sessions are provided by therapists specialized in Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, helping individuals recover their mobility, strength, function, and independence during and after breast cancer.
Educational Workshops: Our free, online webinars empower individuals with trusted, evidence-based information to manage their treatment-related side effects. Led by oncology experts, these educational sessions offer life-changing tools and support, helping people navigate cancer and their recovery with greater strength, hope, and an improved quality of life.
Whether you are a survivor, thriver, previvor, or metavivor, we are committed to helping you live well beyond breast cancer. Your quality of life matters to us and we are here to ensure you get the care you need and deserve.

Every Dollar Truly Changes a Life
Recovery is often the most overlooked and underfunded part of the breast cancer journey. At Well Beyond Breast Cancer, we’re changing that.
As one of the first 501(c)(3) nonprofits solely dedicated to expanding access to Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, we believe every person deserves the chance to fully recover, not just survive after breast cancer. Yet far too many go without the care they need to manage their pain, regain their strength, and rebuild their lives after treatment.
That’s where you come in.
As a 100% volunteer-led organization, every dollar you donate goes directly to our Financial Assistance Program. No overhead, no fluff. Just real, life-changing impact.
Your support directly funds appointments of Breast Cancer Rehabilitation for those who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial hardship, ensuring that everyone has access to essential cancer care.
Your generosity is the difference between surviving and truly living well beyond breast cancer. Together, we can reshape the future of breast cancer care. Together, we can ensure no one is left behind.
